Following the resignation of Jan van der Deijl, the committee of the Greenport International U14 Tournament has appointed a new chair as of 1 January 2026.

Gerben Voois will assume the role of chair of the committee. He is well known in the Westland football community and brings extensive experience as a volunteer and board member. In addition, he serves as a municipal councillor for the Municipality of Westland.

After several positive and constructive discussions with both the main board and the committee, Gerben Voois was officially nominated as the successor to Jan van der Deijl during the board meeting held on 15 December last year.

Chair Leo van de Lans is pleased with the appointment of Gerben Voois as chair and believes this will ensure the continuity of the prestigious tournament. It therefore came as no surprise that the main board of FC Gravenzande gave its approval and proceeded with the appointment of Gerben Voois as chair.

The committee can now begin full preparations for the 2026 edition of the tournament.
